I'm Bugged

"I'm Bugged" is a song written by Andy Partridge. It appeared on the 1977 debut album White Music. Oddly enough, the keyboards were not recorded by Barry Andrews; they were in fact recorded by a couple of roadies who had no idea how to play the keyboards.

A live in-studio version, for John Peel, appeared on Drums and Wireless, later on the 1998 Transistor Blast box set.

Andy (on the live version): “A ludicrous song; the lyrics don't particularly mean anything. I just loved the phrase ‘I'm Bugged’. This is a very scratchy sounding version, like the amps were being abused.”
